Come on out for a fun evening of disc golf putting games and get introduced to the sport prior to
the kick off of our 3rd Annual Winter Putting League. We will have lots of different putting
games to try that will be fun for all ages. Discs will be available for use if you don’t have your
own.
Speed Putt Battle (2 Players): 2 Baskets stationed about 20ft apart. 2 players each start with 5
putters in their basket. Removing one putter at a time you have to putt all their discs into the
opponent’s basket. If a putt misses you have to chase it down and putt it in before moving on to
the next disc. The winner is the first person with an empty basket. This is a game of speed, skill,
and endurance.
Relay race (2+ Players): Teams complete putting stations as fast as possible to complete a
relay/obstacle course. Set legs with different challenges to let teams set players to
strengths/weaknesses. The team with the fastest time wins, every putt made will be awarded a
time deduction to the final time.
DISCGOLF (4 Players): Like HORSE but with disc golf. Players rotate picking stations where
each player gets two attempts, make them both and you’re safe. However, if you make fewer
putts than one of your competitors then you could receive one or even two letters. Ex. Player 1
sets the station and makes 1 putt, player 2 makes 2 putts, player 3 makes 0 putts, and player 4
makes 1 putt. Round one results: Player 1: D, Player 2: No letters, Player 3: DI, Player 4, 1
letter. Yes, even the player setting the putt can get letters. Player 2 will set the putt for round 2.
Traditional League Layout: 5 stations of varying distances, 20ft, 25ft, 33ft for the advanced
group. 10ft, 15ft, and 25ft for the novice group. This will be the typical arrangement for putting
league.
