911 Calls for Nov. 22 through Nov. 27, 2021

There were eight animal control calls, eight motor vehicle stops, four traffic control calls, three hazards, two dog/cat control calls, two reports for record, two assist citizen/public assists, one system trouble call and one alarm.

Monday, Nov. 22

0949 – A deputy requested a card started for vandalism at the landfill.

2000 – Caller said they just received a call from his wife's friends stating that they haven't been able to reach her mother for a couple of days now. He said she has been sick. RP Said they'll be headed to the residence to check on her but would like an officer to meet them at the house.

Tuesday, Nov. 23

1352 – Reporting party called and stated there is an issue out on the highway that appears to be a domestic. She said there is a man and a woman screaming at each other and there are kids crying.

1810 - Caller reported that her brother was supposed to be at her residence at 1730 hours. She hasn't been able to reach him since 1 p.m. She said his phone shows that he's in Hinsdale. She wanted to know if someone could look in Hinsdale and do a welfare check on him if he's found. 1842 – Caller received a call from her brother. He's okay. He was just having issues with his phone.

Wednesday, Nov. 24

0636 - Female RP called and said a deer hit the right side of her husband's car but he is continuing on to work.

1736 – Caller reported that she hit a deer with her company vehicle. No injuries. She's not sure where the deer is. She's out of the driving lane and has her flashers on.

2305 – Caller said someone fired a gun between the Campbell Lodge and the Oasis. He said there's a witness at the Oasis that said who was the suspect. They heard at least two gun shots. He later advised that they heard another shot. 2315 – Officer has a suspect in custody. 2333 – RP called and said he found some brass. A deputy will go talk to him.

Thursday, Nov. 25

0733 – Caller reported she hit a deer. She states the deer is dad and in the ditch.

1614 – Received a call from a man. He states he needs an officer to the above location as someone is at his residence as someone is trying to take a vehicle there. Asked if it is his vehicle, he said no, he states he is holding it as the woman who it belongs to owes him money.

Friday, Nov. 26

1213 – A male called in stating he has found a tractor that is all shot up. He found the casings also. He believes it was a 9mm.

1723 – Caller reported that she has a flat tire. She's out of the driving lane with her lights and flashers on.

2142 – Caller was reporting a female in her cousin's unit next door. She knew he was not home and called him. He advised her to call dispatch. The resident of the unit called in and stated who he believed the person was and described the medication and where it was at which he believes is what the person may have taken. Per an officer, he spoke to probation intake person and he explained the situation to her and she gave them permission to search the suspect person and vehicle. Per the officer, search of the car is complete, didn't turn up anything.

Saturday, Nov. 27

1709 – Vandalism – A deputy advised the building is clear at this time.

1718 – Caller reported he hit a deer. He does have a flat tire from the bumper being pushed in, no injuries.

1750 – A male called in stating his car just quit on him. He states he is off the road, no injuries. A deputy advised he will have these subjects in his vehicle to get warm.

2025 – Caller reported her brother's cell phone has been stolen. They believe they know who did it. 2122 – Per a deputy, found suspect hiding in a car. He is in custody now. RP doesn't want charges pressed. The male was let go. 2140 – The female called back. The phone that was returned to them has the sim card removed. The phone is useless without it. Notified the deputy. They are working on it.
