• 2 p.m. - Care Packages for our Troops - The St. Marie Women's Club, Jackie Bird & the GHS Leadership Class are teaming up for our troops! With another group of National Guardsmen & women being shipped out around Christmas time, it is time to start collecting items for care packages for them. Items that are needed are: Chex mix, Trail mix, Chicken and/or Tuna (canned or packaged),

SATURDAY, DEC. 4

• 2 p.m. - Middle of Nowhere Polar Plunge - Glasgow Civic Center. Proceeds to benefit local Special Olympics. So far, $5,300 raised by GPD and VCSO from local businesses. The goal is $16,000 annual torch run in early 2022. To donate, visit GPD station. "By more ice to make the water chillier," said GPD Assistant Chief Tyler Edwards.

SUNDAY, DEC. 5

• 1:30 p.m. - Nashua Senior Citizens Game Day - Nashua Senior Citizens Center. Come enjoy playing cards or other games with your friends and neighbors!

TUESDAY, DEC. 7

• 6 p.m. - December Valley County Museum Board Meeting - Valley County Pioneer Museum.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 8

• 12:30 p.m. - Kiwanis Meeting - Cottonwwod Inn. After eating lunch they will be using Zoom to sing Christmas Carols to residents of Prairie Ridge and Valley View ( A Zoom link will be provided the day before by email.) We will also be joined by students from the Key Club and Builders Club. Jennifer Fewer will play the piano.

• 1 p.m. - Nashua Senior Citizens Monthly Meeting - Nashua Senior Citizens Center.

• 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. - Nashua Senior Citizens Monthly Meeting - Nashua Senior Citizens Center.

• 12:30 p.m. - Indian Taco Supper - Nashua Our Reedemers Church. Thrivent has supplied funds and take outs are available. Everyone is welcome.
