The Nashua Porcupines hosted the North Country Mavericks in their final regular season game Oct. 19. The Mavericks won the match in three sets 25-16, 25-11, 25-14.
Nashua had seven aces, eight kills, three assists and 22 digs in the match. Kyleigh Garsjo led in aces with three. Deja Morgan and Hadynn Adkins each had three kills to lead the Porcupines. Kaitlyn Miller, Morgan and Alexis Murdock were each credited with one assist. Tia Dees had five digs to lead Nashua while Garsjo and Miller had four a piece.
The Porcupines had a play-in game for the District 1-C Volleyball tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 26, against MonDak. Results were unavailable at press time. A win would set Nashua up to face seventh-seed Savage on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 11 a.m. The District 1-C Tournament is being held in Scobey Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 28-30.
Update: Nashua lost the match to MonDak 25-17, 28-30, 25-17, 17-25, 12-15.
