Frazer Cross Country

The Frazer Bearcubs sent six runners to the State Cross Country meet in Missoula Oct. 23.

Ty Fourstar and Anthony Jackson represented the Frazer boys team during the Class C boys race. Fourstar finished in 102nd place with a time of 27:15.27. Jackson ran a 29:10.16 and finished in 107th place.

Alyssa Toce Blount, Shakira Beston, Kalianna Toce Blount and Angel Nelligan ran for the Frazer girls team in the Class C race.

A. Toce Blount led the Bearcubs girls, finishing in 38th place. She ran the course in 24:55.65. Beston set a personal record at 26:23.47 and finished in 60th place. K. Toce Blount earned 66th place with her time of 26:40.51. Nelligan ran the race in 28:09.04 and finished in 79th place.

“I know I couldn’t be more proud of our team on how they performed at the state and all season long,” said head coach Cody Larson. “I truly believe next year Northeastern Montana has a very good chance at seeing some Bearcub runners in the top 15 at the state meet.”
