There were eight animal control calls, five motor vehicle stops, four assist citizen/public assists, three fire/business alarms, three dog/cat control calls, one inspection request, one hazard, one traffic control call and one report for record.
Monday, Oct. 11
1109 – Contacted Hinsdale FC who thinks they can handle the fire with the two trucks they have. He will call if they need more. Caller reported a semi on fire. She stated she doesn't have much information on this as it was reported to her by another person. She stated they have small water trucks on hand and are calling around to other ranchers in the area for assistance. She could not give information about what was on the semi. Received a call from another person who said they can just see black smoke from her place. She said it would be 18 to 20 miles south of Saco on Larb Creek. She isn't sure if it is just the truck or if it has a load on it or not. She also isn't sure if it is on the roadway or if it will be able to burn anything else at this time. They are hooking up to the country rig and is headed that way. 1324 – Advised the fire is out but they are waiting for Thompsons and maybe Fossums to bring out a loader and a dozer to assist.
Tuesday, Oct. 12
1639 – Caller requested an officer. She reported that someone tried to break into her sister's residence. She said she found one window pushed in and open. She found another window that is broke off. RP said she was at the residence this morning and it wasn't like that. Her sister is on her way back from Billings. The caller has already been inside the house.
1922 – Card started at an officer's request for harassment.
Wednesday, Oct. 13
0754 – Received a call from a male who stated he wants to speak to an officer about his neighbor who has threatened him about five times now since he moved into his apartment in October of 2019. He states just this morning the male threatened to shoot up through the floor boards with a .45 cal gun. The caller states he has his son there also. He is tired of this and wants something done about it.
0906 – Caller advised they had a drive off about 10 minutes ago. Vehicle left going westbound on US Hwy 2. They got $71.89 worth of gas.
1008 – A female called in stating she has had a break in at her residence. She is there now and can tell someone has been rummaging through her things. She would like an officer to come to her house. The caller was asked if they knew if anything had been taken and she said she didn't' know yet. A deputy advised this will be a trespass not a burglary.
1402 – A male came into the dispatch lobby and provided an envelope with a flash drive in it. He stated that they have closed down AgLand in Nashua with the exception of someone being able to sue their card. He states that on 10-07-2021 at 1032 an individual arrived at the gas station, pulled down his pants and defecated on the ground in front of the pumps. The RP feels this was not an emergency situation and that he did it out of spite for closing down the gas station.
1920 – Caller called in to report hearing a gunshot. The caller stated that they had never heard a gunshot up there before.
1924 – A female called in to report that when she came home the screen was off her bedroom window. After she came home she went in to take a shower and that while in the shower she heard two men's voices that sounded like it was coming from the crawlspace. She stated she heard them leave a few minutes later. She thought it might be kids getting drunk.
2026 – A female called in to report some kids that had come into her apartment building and when she said something to them they became rude with her. They then went over to the buidling across the street and she thought she knew the parents so she knocked on the door and no one answered. She stated she saw at least two kids, possibly high school age.
Friday, Oct. 15
0057 – The vehicle is totaled and it is off the road. The flashers are on and only one in the front and two in the back. Believe the calf came from the south side of the highway. A male called in to report an accident. He first thought they hit a deer. When asked if there were injuries, he checked the vehicle and no one was inside.
0534 – A male called in to report he struck a deer. He stated that his car was still drivable and that it cracked his bumper and busted a couple of pieces of plastic. He stated he had to get home because his wife had to go to work.
1408 – An employee called in from Western Drug to advise that an older man hit the curb, then hit their tree in front of the store. He dinged up the curb and messed up the tree, left pieces of his bumper there also.
Saturday, Oct. 16
0225 – Card started per an officer's request for disorderly conduct.
1912 – Caller reporting 10+ gunshots south of town. She said they started about 1830. Per deputy, checked area, UTL on any shots.
