Kalianna Toce Blount runs the Frazer Invitational cross country meet earlier this season.
The Frazer Bearcubs cross country teams made the trip to Malta on Saturday to compete at Marian Hills. All four of the girls competing set records at the meet, one season best performance and three personal records.
Junior Alyssa Toce Blount set a season record, finishing the course in 25:23.48. She placed 22nd. Sophomores Shakira Beston, Angel Nelligan and Kalianna Toce Blount all set personal records in Malta. Beston ran a 26:51.38 and finished in 29th place. Nelligan finished in 34th with her time of 27:10.21. K. Toce Blount was right behind her with a time of 27:20.07 and 35th place.
Sophomore Ty Fourstar represented the boys team for Frazer in Malta. He placed 35th with a time of 27:03.91.
The Frazer Bearcubs cross country teams will next be back in action this Friday, Oct. 15, at 10 a.m. at the Harlem golf course for the Harlem Invitational. Saturday, Oct. 23, the Bearcubs will attend the Montana High School Association State Cross Country meet. The state meet will be held at the University of Montana golf course.
