Five Dead from COVID-19 Since Sept. 1

The Valley County Health Department (VCHD) on Friday confirmed the death of a woman in her 70s due to COVID-19 infection.

This marks the fifth death since Sept. 1, and the 23rd since the pandemic began.

On Friday, VHCD officials stated there were 52 new and confirmed COVID-19 infections in Valley County sine the prior week, which saw 30 new cases.

The new cases last week were comprised uf 34 females and 18 males.
