The Nashua Porcupines volleyball team hosted the Fairview Warriors on Thursday and the Richey-Lambert Fusion on Saturday. Though the Porcupines did not add to their win column, head coach Janice Rorvik sees growth in her team.

“The girls played well this past weekend and the different parts of the game are coming together for us,” she said. “Everything we went over in practice this past week was utilized and performed by the girls during the game.”

Fairview won the Thursday match 25-13, 20-25, 25-20, 25-11.

Aces - Alexis Murdock -3, Haydnn Adkins and Tia Dees - 2 each. Team total - 7

Kills - Tia Dees – 5, Hadynn Adkins – 2. Team Total - 10

Richey-Lambert won their match against Nashua 24-26, 25-14, 25-17, 25-20.

“We have Scobey and Frazer coming up this week and are excited to continue to improve and develop our skills for these matches,” Rorvik said.

The Porcupines host Scobey on Thursday, Sept. 23 with games beginning at 5 p.m. The game against Frazer this weekend has been postponed with no new date yet announced.
