There were 34 motor vehicle stops, 19 accidental dials/prank calls, 10 dog/cat calls, eight animal control calls, six assist citizens/public assists, two alarms, one system trouble, one report for record, one parking violation, one traffic control and one hazard.
Saturday, August 28
• 0853 – A woman called in stating there is a vehicle that passed a school bus, then passed her. She believes they are going too fast. She is willing to sign a complaint.
• 0932 – A woman came into to the dispatch lobby to report she backed into a truck at the Cottonwood Inn. She said the truck must have rolled down some and was sticking out a lot.
• 1200 – RCSO dispatcher advised they just got a call about a vehicle swerving all over the road. A deputy advised she followed this vehicle. She observed no driving behaviors that warranted a stop. She observed some swerving but it is windy out.
• 1713 – A man called in to 911 to report he backed into a storage building.
• 1750 – Had a phone call and the caller requested to remain anonymous. The caller stated that she saw about nine kids go into an abandoned house. Notified a deputy who asked to call Tribal. Called RCSO and they stated they would send someone.
• 2244 – A woman reported a gas drive off. An officer stopped the vehicle on an unrelated stop a few minutes later. They will be back to take care of this.
Sunday, August 29
• 1806 – A woman reported a vehicle with a bunch of kids in it that went speeding by her house. She told them to slow down they told her to “F*** off.” An officer advised he was UTL on this vehicle but did speak to some others who saw it also.
• 2151 – A woman reported water running down the street for a couple of hours. Per an officer looks like a possible break. Notified the water department, he will go check it out.
• 2229 – Two vehicles on dike, no lights on. Going down to river, no longer covert, hard trail to navigate. Per an officer, just a family fishing.
• 2241 – A deputy received calls from another deputy and other party saying there is possible DUI. They stopped at a house. The deputy will remain in area.
Monday, August 30
• 1408 – A woman reported seeing a suspicious incident she wanted to report in case something was going on. She said a vehicle pulled on a little boy just east of the Cottonwood. They sat and talked to the child for about five minutes and then the child appeared to have willingly got into the vehicle. She stated the vehicle turned around and headed west back into Glasgow. Per an officer, identified the woman who picked up the child. His parents are out of town, she dropped him off at Home Run pond where he is waiting for his sister. Per the officer, no one is at the pond, going to make his way to the residence to check on the child.
• 1427 – A woman spoke with a deputy about the weeds and motorhome. She said the motorhome is causing a hazard when you are trying to see around it.
• 1740 - A woman reported they have a train tied down for crew change. She said someone jumped on the middle part of the train. The would like officers to search the train while they have it stopped. Officers couldn't located anyone.
• 1745 – A woman reported that they lost a 4-wheeler seat last night. 1921 – She called back to let dispatch know they found the seat on the side of the road.
Tuesday, August 31
• 1031 – Request for extra patrol where they are working. He stated they have people going through the work areas in an unsafe manner.
• 1218 – A man advised he believes one of the tires on his vehicle was slashed during the night.
• 1413 – A man advised he just received an automated call from someone saying someone tried to purchase a phone for $1,000 on his Amazon account. He said he doesn't have an Amazon account and this isn't the first call he has gotten about it. He called back the next day stating he got an email concerning the same thing.
• 1719 – Roosevelt 911 reported that a woman jumped on a moving freight train that left Wolf Point headed westbound 10 minutes ago. She is intoxicated. They already notified BNSF who is going to try to get the train stopped. 1722 Roosevelt 911 called to say that BNSF was able to stop the train before it got out of their county.
• 2350 – An officer requested a card started regarding conditions violations.
Wednesday, Sept. 1
• 0752 – Caller wanted to have an officer check on traffic. There is road work being done at the underpass and rerouting traffic. Dispatch explained this has been occurring for several days and traffic does get congested at times but this is normal for the work being done.
• 1112 – Store employee called in that there was a vehicle with four males – gas drive off.
• 1446 – A male called in and wanted to report that his wife stole his car in Cleveland, Ohio. He is in Montana working. Told him he would have to call and report it to the authorities in Cleveland since it didn't happen in Montana.
• 1601 – A woman reported another woman that's cutting people off and pulling in front of them and hitting her brakes.
• 1840 – A woman reported that she saw a man laying on the sidewalk next to his moped and she thinks someone should go check on him.
Thursday, Sept. 2
• 2305 – A warrant was served.
Friday, Sept. 3
• 1506 – Status check on a deputy.
• 1545 – A deputy requested a city officer to do a welfare check on a man.
• 1623 – A man called in stating there is a truck with a 5th wheel camper trying to back out of the underpass.
• 2007 – A man called to say he ran over a wood pallet so he pulled over and picked up all the wood off the highway.
• 2128 – A man reported a woman called him to let her into a room. She doesn't live there. He would like her removed, no trespass, just removed. An officer found the woman. She is visiting another woman.
Saturday, Sept. 4
• 1241 – A man called in a brush fire. Received several other calls about this fire.
• 1437 – A man advised he went to a local restaurant. The manager was extremely rude to him so he tried to get his name so he could call corporate and lodge a complaint. The manager then grabbed his genitals and shook them, then made an obscene gesture. An officer advised he issued a disorderly conduct to both men.
• 1526 – RCSO dispatch called in a single vehicle roll over accident, no injuries, two occupants.
• 1820 – RP called and said he hit a deer on the way to the Pines. He said he drove his pickup to his cabin and then his wife brought him to the ER. He said his ribs and chest were hurting, possibly from the seatbelt.
• 1840 – RP reported three young children holding religious signs. She says she's all about that but does not see an adult overseeing them. An officer said the teenager is their sibling and is over the age of 18.
