There were 19 motor vehicle stops, five dog/cat control calls, five accidental dials/prank calls, four reports for record, four hazards, four assist citizens/public assists, three traffic control calls, two animal control calls, two alarm calls, one assist to other agency, one parking violation, one status check/well being check, and one inspection.
Monday, Aug. 16
• 0937 – A woman advised her grandson lost his wallet and she would like a call if it is found. She stated the last time he saw it was Saturday. He has retraced his steps but still hasn't been able to locate it.
• 1136 – A man reported a trailer missing from his property. He last saw the trailer in October of 2002 and it would have been registered to his dad because they had the trailer before the property became the trust. He signed the trailer as stolen but a deputy wants to do some digging first to see if he can find where the trailer might have gone before entered into the system.
• 1240 – Employee from the Frazer School reported a fire across the road from the school. She said it is a large fire near the playground equipment that is building quickly. She reported it is a grass fire at this time and they don't have anyone on scene to start working on it. 1724 – A man advised that both BIA trucks are clear of the fire.
• 2004 – A man reported he hit a deer. No injuries.
Tuesday, Aug. 17
• 1512 – A woman reported she heard five gun shots on Duck Creek. She said a man is shooting the gun. They believed he was shooting at rabbits but said he's getting too close to the campers.
• 1646 – A card for scams was started at an officer's request.
• 1842 – A man reported he's behind a pickup going westbound. The occupant is flicking ashes out their window. Reporting Party will sign a complaint.
• 2123 – A man reported he hit a deer about five miles east of Opheim. No injuries.
• 2252 – A man reported a fire at Winter Harbor by the flood plain boat ramp. He said it was a big fire and moving fast. Aug. 18, 0219 – The fire mop up was turned over to Fort Peck Fire Department.
Wednesday, Aug. 18
• 0017 – RP called and said a transformer exploded in the line in his back yard. It is sparking. Advised Northwestern Energy.
• 0318 – Fire command advised he is clear of this call and the power has been restored.
• 0028 – RP called and said a window had blown out.
• 0159 – Nashua Fire Department and Long Run/Glasgow Fire Department are on scene. Dispatch received many 911 calls on this fire, some after fire trucks had already arrived.
• 0749 – An officer found a vehicle near the stockyards unoccupied. Vehicle has BN equipment in it, possibly just someone working on the tracks. Logging the location in case anyone else calls in about the vehicle.
• 0836 – A warrant was served.
• 1326 – An officer requested a CFS started for scams.
• 1535 – A woman reported that Monday morning she found someone was in her vehicle. She didn't find anything missing but one of the seats was reclined all the way back. She said an officer can call her.
• 1706 – A man reported it appears some older kids (possibly early teens) are bullying a younger child (about 8-9 YOA). He believes they were possibly shoving the younger child.
Thursday, Aug. 19
• 1058 – A woman reported she hit a deer. She reported the vehicle is drivable and she is not injured.
• 1414 – Received a hit confirmation request from MHP on a man. They reported they have a state trooper out with him now. Notified a deputy who advised we will extradite.
• 2015 – A man reported his vehicle overheated and quit on him.
Friday, Aug. 20
• 0925 – Female called on 911 wanting to advise traffic is getting backed up because there is a train on the tracks and they have the underpass blocked. She said the train is moving, but not very fast. She was told the train can't move very fast at that location.
• 1617 – A woman called in to report she was involved in a rear end collision. When asked if anyone was injured she stated her back was sore, but that was all.
• 2044 – A man called in to report two late-teen/early 20s kids throwing tires in the dumpster.
Saturday. Aug. 21
• 0211 – A card for violations was started per an officer's request.
• 1034 – Two men came into the Dispatch lobby where they reported the motorhome they just repossessed has been taken. One man stated it was on his property this morning when he left at 0800 and gone when the second man went to get it to sell to someone else just now. He thinks it would have been the people they repossessed it from because the second man is in possession of the only key they have to it. A deputy is en route to St. Marie to see if she can find the vehicle. They want to hold off on signing it stolen until the deputy can check the area. 1249 – the deputy has the vehicle and is headed back to Glasgow.
• 1307 – A man spoke with a deputy about a trespassing issue that occurred a half hour ago.
• 2046 – Female RP reported she struck a deer.
• 2324 – Per an officer, received anonymous tip a woman is intoxicated at a bar and asked dispatch to check for conditions. Notified the officer she has active conditions. Per the officer, log a BAC of 0.328.
