The Market Report for the Glasgow Stockyards as of Aug. 26 shows 477 cattle sold with cows steady to stronger on fleshy cows and bulls steady to weak. Cows and bulls coming off dry pastures carrying thin flesh, and many wet cows.
Utility and Commercial Cows brought in $63 to $74.50 with a top of $77.50. Canner and Cutter cows brought in $52 to $63. Bulls brought in $75 to $89.
