National Competition in Florida
It was Cari Knolls lucky day last week as she learned she had been drawn to compete in the 2022 Special Olympics, USA.
She had no idea she had been chosen when waiting with a crowd of well-wishers last week at the Milk River Activity Center.
Scott Held, Montana Special Olympics Sports Director, drove all the way to Glasgow from Helena to give Knolls the good news in person.
Knolls is one of 15 athletes who will represent Montana at the upcoming games.
She will complete in track and field.
After learning she was on her way to Florida, Knolls signed an official document presented by Michelle Eliason.
