The flags of Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial fly in a stiff wind under a gray sky on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. Celebrations honoring veterans this year looked a little different as the Glasgow VFW and American Legion celebration went remote and the Opheim celebration was partially held in the dark after cold weather and harsh winds dropped powerlines in northern Valley County.
