FMDH Foundation Updates On Accomplishments

Dear Community and Donors to the FMDH Foundation,

Greetings from the FMDH Foundation Corner.

It’s hard to believe it’s already the time of year to have our annual meeting and fill you all in on what the Foundation has accomplished in the last year. We, like you, are learning to be adaptable. Though we won’t be meeting in person this year, we wanted to share the positive things we were still able to help our community with.

The Foundation gifted $25,000 in scholarships to the following students pursuing a medical field:

Kiauna Barstad

Teagan Fossum

Kerry Hoffman

Jesi Kennedy

Madison Knodel

Sophia Koessl

Khloe Krumwiede

Bethany Legare

Kyle Nielsen

Alexus Nistler

Ellie Page

Deann Rasmusan

Micah Tweten

Nicole Williams

Along with supporting our students, the Foundation also made gifts to Milk River Inc., STAT AIR, FMDH Infusion Dept., Labor & Deliver, and EMS. A total of $56,000 was gifted to students, FMDH, and the community. We gave a little over $3,000 to our four ambulance services through the Markle’s Ambulance Fund.

With all the road bumps of 2020, the Foundation was as diligent as ever to fulfill our donors desires by continuing to help your loved ones. We strive to make sure our medical community has what it needs to care for you and your loved ones. While our fundraising during events has stopped, we have still be so very fortunate with donations and estate gifts this year. Thank you for all your support, especially now.

Though we miss our usual in person meetings, we want to keep you safe. We will still be sending out our Tree of Life donation form next month as usual. If you have any questions, please let us know! Until next time, may you be happy and your holidays be blessed!

Sincerely,

The FMDH Foundation Board of Directors
