Coach Madison Neufeld Commented:
"We celebrated our senior night on Sept. 15 against Glasgow JV. Our two seniors, Ashley O'hara and Tiara Whitmus, played very well against Glasgow. They are great leaders for these girls both on and off the court and it's such a blessing being able to coach them both."
"Sept. 17 we played Fairview and played our best volleyball to date. The girls were finally hitting on all cylinders and it really showed each game. They played like the team we knew we could be and it was fun seeing them out there playing hard and enjoying the game. While we did play hard, Fairview was a tough team. They had well placed hits and strong serves that really made us work. I was beyond proud of our girls for how that game went."
"On Sept. 19 against Richey/Lambert, I think we hit a bit of a wall after this week. As hard as the girls tried to get a win, we just weren't at the level we needed to be at for this game. I think we were tired and they were a very strong team that capitalized on all aspects of the game. We are still fine tuning and working toward our end goal for our season, so I'm hoping we can come into this next week with clear minds and determination to play hard."

Coach Charlene Wasson Commented:
"We wanted to start this week out on the right foot getting rolling with conference games and we did just that. We have been working on making every hit over the net an attack whether a hard-driven kill, tip or back row attack. To start this week off we wanted an aggressive mindset. Our passing off serve receive is helping us get our attacks at the net. We continue to work on our communication and it is just nice how well the girls work together."
"They have been working towards this goal for three years and to have it start at the beginning of the season is a nice testament to how much work they put in making our distance seem like it doesn't exist. We spend many hours away from each other during the school day and when we get together at practice we come together like a team and support each other. Our distance is not our Achilles heel anymore, we have strengthened our relationships even through this pandemic. This season will be what we make it and we know that and are working daily to keep our eyes focused on having fun, building memories, and coming together to get better playing volleyball but most importantly build something that will outlast our playing days on the court."
