The shortened softball season came to end this past weekend for the 12U and 10U teams of Glasgow. Glasgow played host for the MonDak league year-end tournament at Sullivan Park on June 27.
Under the big sky and in scorching temperatures, the teams battled it out on the diamonds for softball supremacy. The Glasgow 10U team claimed third place in the tournament, after falling to Havre, 14-10, and Lewistown, 21-10.
The 12U girls battled back from a 13-2 initial loss to Havre to snag second place in the tournament. The team bounced back in the second game to defeat Sidney 19-3 and then avenged their loss to Havre, winning the third game 7-3. The fourth and final game saw the Glasgow girls fall to Lewistown, 15-5.
