As of press time, the following events have been canceled, postponed or adjusted:
Due to the Governor’s orders with the coronavirus where there is to be no gathering of people, the VCRPC has decided to cancel the following matches:
Lever Gun Match scheduled for April 25
Schuetzen & Vintage Military Match scheduled for May 2.
The shooting range will remain open for individuals to go out and shoot. Just remember to adhere to the Governors rules: Social distance, keep 6 feet away from others. If a lot of people are out at the range, leave and come back later.
The Valley County Refuse Monthly Meeting has been canceled for April.
The Glasgow Senior Center will be doing grab and go meals on Tuesday and Thursday. Please call by 9 a.m. the morning of. These meals are for those 60 and older. Meals will be distributed at noon -12:30 one person in line at a time. Please use the dining room door.
The menu is as follows:
April 23 – Italian meat sauce, spaghetti, tossed salad, dressing, garlic toast and fruit jello.
April 28 – Hot turkey sandwich, mashed potato, gravy, squash and fruit cobbler.
April 30 – Swiss steak, buttered noodles, seasoned cabbage, dinner roll and bread pudding.
The Valley County Pioneer Museum will be closed due to the virus till further notice.
Glasgow Rec. Department is closed until further notice.
In order to prevent the spread of illness, the Valley County Health Department will no longer be open to the public without an appointment made beforehand. Limited availability so please call 228-6261 to make an appointment.
Until further notice, the Valley County Food Bank is closed.
The Children’s Museum of Northeast Montana is closed while schools are closed.
Nashua Senior Citizens will not have gatherings of any kind at the Nashua Senior Citizens Center until after Easter. Take out meals are available by calling the Center at 746-3370. Leave a message if there is no answer. They can be picked up right at the door of the Senior Citizens Center.
The Fort Peck Recreation Center is closed until further notice. The Fort Peck Town Office is also closed to the public, all payments can still be mailed or dropped in the Dropbox. If there are any questions call 526-3220.
The Glasgow City-County Library is closed.
