Newly appointed Glasgow Assistant Chief of Police Tyler Edwards (l) receives his new badge from Chief of Police Brien Gault on Jan. 31. The position has been vacant since Gault's appointment to Chief in 2018 as the department strived to hire new officers and planned for the future. Edwards is an 11-year veteran of the GPD and was previously one of the two GPD sergeants.
