Calendar of Upcoming Events in the Area

For November and December, the Valley County Pioneer Museum is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Noon to 4 p.m. The Museum will be closed the month of January.

The Fort Peck Interpretive Center is open during the month of November, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Powerhouse tours are available with 48 hours notice to Interpretive Center. Must drive over, no walkers or bikers. Call 406-526-3493 for more information.

THURSDAY – NOV. 7

2 p.m. - Valley County Transportation Advisory Committee meeting at the Valley County Senior Citizen Center.

FRIDAY – NOV. 8

Noon – Nashua Senior Citizens Meeting with a potluck starting at noon and the meeting will follow at 1 p.m.

2:30 – 4 p.m. - Harvest Festival at Valley View Home. Music entertainment, raffle and pie sale. All proceeds will benefit the Resident Stocking Fund.

5-5:45 p.m. - Weigh-In For Wellness at St. Raphael’s Church Blue Room (come to the back door). This casual meeting group will meet every Thursday.

5:30 – 7:30 p.m. - Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery Artist of the Month Reception showcasing Dan Taylor’s collection of art by various prison inmates.

SUNDAY – NOV. 10

10 a.m. - Sacrament Meeting Presentation at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 15 Airport Road, Glasgow.

MONDAY – NOV. 11

Veterans Day

The Courthouse will be closed in honor of Veterans Day.

7-9 a.m. - 9th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast at the Glasgow VFW.

8:15 – 8:45 a.m. - Glasgow Middle School Veterans Day Program at the middle school.

8:50 a.m. - Kids Will Sing at Irle School to Honor Veterans

10:30 a.m. - Veterans Day Program at Glasgow High School

Noon – Potluck Dinner following Veteran’s Day Program at the Glasgow VFW.

4:30 – 6:30 p.m. - Nashua Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Indian Taco supper at the Church.

TUESDAY – NOV. 12

5:30 p.m. - Valley County Democrats meet in the City Council Room of the Civic Center the second Tuesday of each month. All meetings are open to the public.

6 p.m. - Valley County Airport Commission meeting the second Tuesday of the month at the Airport.

7 p.m. - College Financial Night at Glasgow High School Library.

WEDNESDAY – NOV. 13

1-4 p.m. - Veteran Service Officers will be at the Glasgow VA Clinic. Please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214).

1:30 p.m. - Nashua Senior Citizens Nail Care at the center.

9:30 – 11:30 a.m. - Veteran Service Officers will be at Malta City Hall. Please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214).

3 p.m. - Valley County Transit Board meeting at 3 p.m. at the Valley County Transit office. Please use the back door/east entrance.

7-9 p.m. - Wheatgrass Arts & Gallery Sip ‘N Paint. This month’s project is creating your own design on your choice of various bisqueware pieces, latte bar mugs, coffee mugs, spoon rests or flower pot.
