For September and October, the Valley County Pioneer Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

THURSAY – OCT. 3

2 p.m. - Bingo at The Manor (Nemont) basement. Open to the public.

FRIDAY – OCT. 4

5:30-7:30 p.m. - Wheatgrass Arts and Gallery Artist of the Month reception featuring Halle Paige Reddig at the gallery, 523 2nd Ave. S.

7:30 p.m. - Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Johnny Appleseed” at Glasgow High School.

SATURDAY – OCT. 5

7 – 10 a.m. - Valley County Senior Citizens serve breakfast the first Saturday of every month at the senior center.

8 – 11:30 a.m. - Pancake breakfast by the Fort Peck Senior Citizens at the downstream campground shelter #4 in coordination with the Glasgow Invitational Cross Country meet.

9 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Flea Market at the Valley County Senior Center, 328 4th Street South.

10:30 a.m. - Remove Stigma Mental Health Walk, Valley Events Center. Get info, give input, short walk, food, and chance to win Yeti cooler and Chamber Bucks. Take one hour and help build positive behavioral health in Valley County- no cost.

11 a.m. - Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Johnny Appleseed” at Glasgow High School.

2-4 p.m. - St. Marie Women’s Club Annual Pie Social at Town Hall in St. Marie.

5 p.m. - Skip Erickson Memorial Fundraising Event at the Elks Lodge. Appetizers/social will start at 5 p.m., with Dinner and Silent Auction at 6:30 p.m., followed by a live auction at 7:30 p.m.

SUNDAY – OCT. 6

Nashua Seniors Game and Social Day at the Nashua Senior Center.

11:30 a.m. & 1 p.m. - St. Raphael’s Harvest Dinner at the Church. Reservations are recommended by calling 228-9800.

1-4 p.m. - Hinsdale Fall Festival at the Hinsdale Legion Park. Concessions, food, carnival games, kids’ crafts and live music. This year, proceeds will be used to repair the Legion Monument.

TUESDAY – OCT. 8

9 a.m. - Live Under the Big Sky – Nashua School Superintendent James Russell on KLTZ.

9 – 11:30 a.m. - Influenza Clinic to receive flu shots at the Glasgow Senior Citizens Center.

5:30 p.m. - Valley County Democrats meet in the City Council Room of the Civic Center the second Tuesday of each month. All meetings are open to the public.

6 p.m. - Valley County Airport Commission meeting the second Tuesday of the month at the Airport

6 p.m. - Hinsdale Mosquito Control Board Meeting at the Hinsdale Ambulance meeting room.

6:30 – 8:30 p.m. - Money Matters for Montana Women Financial Workshop at the Cottonwood Inn.

WEDNESDAY – OCT. 9

9 a.m. - Live Under the Big Sky – New General Surgeon at FMDH Dr. Lorenz on KLTZ.

1 p.m. - Valley County Conservation District monthly board meeting at the USDA Service Center in Glasgow, 54059 US Highway 2 W. All meetings are open to the public.

5:30 – 7 p.m. - McPool Party Fundraiser sponsored by McDonalds.
