Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
Everything begins on a foundation. What is true for wrestling is also true for the building that will house the club going into the future. Pictured above, Gregg Hunter presents a check from Nemont Wireless for $5,000 to the Glasgow Wrestling Club to help with building their new wrestling facility. When said and done the new building – located near the Glasgow Middle School – will feature a three-mat training room. According to Glasgow School's Athletic Director, Brenner Flaaten, the facility will be the largest in the state of Montana. Brady Flaaten discussed the construction, saying it will take place in stages. Currently the foundation has been set; then the structure will go up with the mats and a single bath in place. At later stages the facility will contain two full locker rooms complete with showers, and it will have a meeting room for board members.
