The Glasgow Scottie 14U softball team traveled to Sidney for a pair of games on June 29 and defeated Sidney by 10 runs in each contest.
The wins, and a 10-0 record in league play, earned them the title of MonDak Champs.
With 15 runs off of 12 hits, the first game resulted in a 15-5 error-free victory for Glasgow. Several RBIs highlighted the game and they were punctuated by a number of stolen bases by the Scotties.
Brielle Partridge earned the win in the circle for Glasgow. She pitched all four innings, surrendering five runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out two and walking zero.
The second game was more of the same, with the Scotties earning a 12-2 win. Daley Aune shined at the plate with a pair of RBIs and a fourth-inning dinger, and Alexis Murdock brought the same inning to a close with a great defensive double play.
Ashley Meland and Aune shared the mound for the Scotties, each allowing just one run.
