Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
The Fort Peck Interpretative Center is now open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily to keep the passion of learning going for students and adults during the summer months.
This week is Pollinator Week at the Interpretative Center where attendees can take part in activities to help people better understand pollinators. Activities include learning about who pollinators are, the roles they play in food sources and how to help them in your very own backyards.
In addition to activities, the observation bee hive is always available to view. Viewers will be able to watch the bees coming in with pollen on their legs, and perform the “waggle” dance to tell others where to find the pollen.
