Highlanders Compete at Gorder Tourney, Montana Open This Weekend

The Highlanders competed at the Annual Brodie Gorder Memorial dual tournament on March 22, and the individual tournament on March 23.

The Highlanders finished 3-2 in the dual portion and finished seventh out of 16 of the toughest teams in the region.

Tayven Bietz was chosen for the Sportsmanship Award.

The individual tournament brought more success for the Highlanders. Led by nine champions, the Highlanders claimed 55 total wins, which was good enough for second-place overall in the 29-team tournament. The Gorder family provided great hospitality over the weekend and the tournament was a great experience for the kids. The group is looking forward to returning to the competition next season. The Highlanders will conclude their season next weekend at Metra Park in Billings for the Montana Open on Saturday and Sunday, March 30 and 31.
