Judy Quinlivan passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, after a year-long battle with cancer.
She was the daughter of Donald and Lorraine Quinlivan, the original owners of Town & Country Furniture in Glasgow, Mont.
After cheering on the Glasgow Scotties through high school, she attended Gonzaga University where she graduated with bachelor and master degrees in sociology and a masters in human resource management.
She worked for the city of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department for 27 years and was the Division Manager of Riverfront Park at the time of her retirement. After retirement from the city, she worked at Barrister Winery, where she loved to see so many old friends and make new ones.
She loved life, wine and especially her many, many friends. She will be sorely missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents and older brother Denis "Skeeter."
She is remembered with love by her devoted soulmate, Jim McLaughlin, Borrego Springs, Calif .; two brothers, John (Celeste) Quinlivan, Burlingame, Calif., and Mick (Terri) Quinlivan, Kalispell, Mont .; two sisters, Susan (Bill) Sander, Glendale, Ariz., and Patti (Brad) Claiborn, Boise, Idaho; as well as many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
A Celebration of Life was held for Judy at the Barrister Winery in Spokane, Wash., on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gonzaga University Alumni Scholarship Fund or the American Cancer Society.
