Bonnie Arnold

On Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, Bonnie Arnold ended her 93-year long journey into the arms of the Lord.

Services will be Saturday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m., at Hinsdale Lutheran Church, with burial in Hillview Cemetery, in Hinsdale, Mont.

She was born in Hinsdale on March 30, 1925, to Clarence and Crystal Nelson. After graduating from Hinsdale High School, she did clerical work at Browning, Mont. She came home and married Ray Arnold on March 7, 1948. She was one of the first leaders in the Western Valley 4-H Club.

She went to work at the Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in the housekeeping department. She retired as a supervisor. She then went to work for Home Health, retiring from that in 2006.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sibling, Donald Nelson, and her husband, Ray Arnold.

She is survived by her six children, Idona Blake, Willard (Mary Beth) Arnold, Kathy Gates, Janice (John) Larson, Ralph (Tracy) Arnold and Calvin Arnold; 12 grandchildren, Lori Springsteed, Odena Dopp, RaeLynn Arnold, Sheri Gates, Bonnie Ohm, Terry Gates, Christopher Hanson, Ashley Arnold, Brook Brennan, Maggie McClure, Kay DeTienne, and Victor DeTienne; 21 great grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
