Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

Glasgow Kiwanis Club Membership Drive

The Glasgow Kiwanis Club is inviting service-minded community members to come and join us. Come Wednesday, Jan. 9, to our membership drive meeting at noon at Sam and Jeff’s and enjoy food and fellowship while also learning how you can benefit by joining our service organization.

Kiwanis was formed in Glasgow in 1923 and is part of the Montana District of Kiwanis and Kiwanis International. Our motto is: Serving the Children of the World with our emphasis being on youth.

We sponsor and support the Glasgow Kiwanis Swim Team, the Glasgow High School Key Club, the Glasgow Middle School Builders Club and Boy Scouts. We help organize and ring the Salvation Army bell and provide support and awards to 4-H, Boys State and Girls State. Kiwanis also provides Bring Up Grade awards in the school to reward those students who showed improvement.

Glasgow will be the host of this year’s annual meeting of Montana Kiwanis, Aug. 1-3, 2019. For more information, you can contact Glasgow Kiwanis Club President Jim Williamson at 303-918-5298 or MT Kiwanis District Governor Charles Wilson at 406-228-8600 at home in the evening, or come to the special meeting Wednesday, Jan. 9, at noon at Sam and Jeff’s.
