Scottie Speech & Drama Sweeps Home Meet

The GHS Speech and Drama had a very successful home meet Nov. 17. Both teams took overall first place.

Isabelle Griffin, Heidi Anderson, Bailee Baxter, Harley Cook, Hannah Anderson, Jordan Billingsley, Rachel Billingsley, and Ian Wright all finished in first place in their events. Finishing second in their events were Joel Brulla, Kyle Southland, Cerenity Olsen, Tyler Fitzsimmons and Ethan Mitchell.

Wyatt Bunk, Talon Laffin, and Sierra Ciafardone left the meet having taken third place. There was also a fifth-place finish by Kellee Hall and a sixth-place finish by Hailee Richardson.

I would like to give a huge thank you to the amazing community of Glasgow for allowing this weekend to happen. It would not have been possible without the numerous volunteer judges that gave up their day to support the growing Speech and Drama team at Glasgow High School. The team cannot express enough thanks to everyone that helped with baking, judging, attending, and any other way that they supported us on Saturday. Glasgow is such a great place to live.
