Thank You Candidates For Taking High Ground

Dear Editor,

We should be so proud of all of the Valley County candidates who ran in the last election.

In a political atmosphere that is so often based on negativity, their positive approach was like a breath of fresh air. Even in the few instances when the lowly political practice of attempting to spread false information or other innuendos tried to raise its ugly head, they kept the high ground and refused to allow their campaign ethics to be denigrated in any way.

In future elections I wish politicians at all levels would take a page from the play book of these candidates – they could learn a lot! Congrats to all of you.
