VVH Annual Harvest Festival

Valley View Home will be hosting their yearly Harvest Festival on Friday, Nov. 9, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Everyone in the community is invited to dance along with Dudley and the Deadbeats, enjoy slices of pie and enter to win prizes donated by area businesses.

Raffle tickets to win prizes can be purchased by contacting Valley View Home at 406-228-2461 or by purchasing them on the day of the event. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Each raffle ticket provides the opportunity to win a fabulous prize. Previous year’s prizes have included Fort Peck Summer Theatre tickets, Chamber Bucks and a Robyn’s Nest basket.

A variety of pie slices will also be available for purchase during the event including coconut cream, blueberry, apple and pumpkin, among other favors. Pies are donated by staff and resident families. Light refreshments will also be available.

All funds raised during the event, including raffle ticket sales and pie sales, will be utilized by the residents. Funds will be distributed between the “Fill the Stocking Fund,” which provides Christmas gifts to residents, provide the opportunity for residents to go on outings and also provides the opportunity for the home to purchase personal items for the residents throughout the year.

Last year, upwards of $1,000 was raised for residents of Valley View during this event.
