Isabelle L. Broxson

Isabelle L. (Christinson) Broxson, 81, of Great Falls, Mont., passed away on Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, of natural causes.

Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home, in Great Falls. A funeral service will take place Saturday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m., in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior.

She was born in Glasgow, Mont., on April 4, 1937, to James and Maybelle Christinson. She went on to marry Donald L. Broxson on May 30, 1965.

She loved cooking and had lovely baked treats and a hot pot of coffee for those who stopped by. She especially enjoyed spoiling her beloved grandchildren. The rest of her time was spent gardening, growing beautiful flowers or rooting for her beloved Bobcats with her dearly loved cat, Oreo, by her side.

Isabelle was a member of the Great Falls Nile Club #3, Daughters of the Nile and North Montana Central Retired Educators Association.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by one son, Kevin (Shelley) Broxson; one daughter, Michele Broxson; two grandchildren, Karlie and Dalton; and one great-grandchild, Cooper.

Memorials in Isabelle's name may be made to the Great Falls Animal Shelter (1010 25th Ave. NE, Great Falls, MT 59404), Peace Hospice (2600 15th Ave. S, Great Falls, MT 59405) and the Shriners Hospital for Children (2900 N. Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607).
