Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,

My name is Amy Jo Horn-Brown. I am the biological daughter of Joseph Horn Jr. who is running for the position of Sheriff in your county. My sister, Gail Horn-Hayes, and I will be coming to Glasgow at the end of this week and would like to invite the public to a forum to answer some questions about our opposition to Joe’s candidacy. That forum will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 2-4 p.m. at the Elk’s Lodge in Glasgow.

We would like to invite Joe to come to the event and answer some of our questions as well. Joe sent me a text on July 17th at 11:37 a.m., saying he is looking forward to seeing us in Glasgow and that he hoped I had a good attorney. To the best of my knowledge, I don’t need an attorney to visit or speak publicly in your community.

We have been contacted and invited by many citizens residing in your community to come and address some of the questions and/or concerns the public may have, regarding Joe and his past. Gail and I have nothing to gain or benefit from this but feel the truth must come out. Hopefully, we can put some questions to rest, since we have been contacted every election that Joe has been a part of by people in Glasgow.

I look forward to coming to Montana, I just wish it were under different circumstances.
