Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

Letters to the Editor

In Support of Tom Boyer

Dear Editor,

I’m lucky enough to have many friends who are nurses. Amazing people really, who do the jobs many of us look away from. Caring for people in their worst, and sometimes most vulnerable moments. Keeping an open mind as to the situations that many patients have faced and not judging them by their pasts. Staying positive even in the darkest of times. All the while having to be the voice and advocate for their patients. Keeping the lines of communication open between families, doctors, and other healthcare workers. Organizing labs, X-rays, nutrition, medications, therapies...definitely excellent multi-tasking is must!

The ability to take control of a situation and deal with challenges they may have never faced before because lives depend on them and their courage to not walk away.

Can you imagine if a person who has these qualities and moral character were to run for public office?

Tom Boyer was a nurse before he became a Sheriff’s deputy. Did you know that?

Tom Boyer for Sheriff.
