Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
To my friends, my family, and you, the voters of Valley County,
I’ve been listening to the highs and lows of this race for Valley County Sheriff and I am so relieved that you’ve finally hit calmer water. Your write-in candidate, Tom Boyer, is currently serving you as a trusted, ambitious, and successful Sheriff’s Deputy for the Valley County Sheriff’s Office. Tom Boyer was hired because he is what the Valley County Sheriff’s Office needs in order to be successful.
Tom’s background investigation shined in one particularly important quality necessary for being a trusted public servant: Integrity. Subsequently, Tom Boyer was hired and I had the pleasure of assisting him through the ins and outs of being a new Valley County Deputy. Tom is easy to train, and is easy to work with and I trust him. Tom’s approachable personality and good sense of humor are motivating and refreshing in a profession often shrouded in heavy conversation. Tom is a natural professional, and makes informed decisions quickly and acts upon them within the color of the law.
I’ve seen Tom lead people by standing up and putting his foot down for what is right and just, and now you get to see it too. Tom is the fresh face the citizens of Valley County need. Tom will provide ideas and perspectives to the office that are relatable with society’s expectations of the modern-day law enforcement officer. Tom is directed by a strong moral compass, grounded by good family values, humility, sound judgment, fiscal responsibility, and good, old-fashioned common sense.
To me, there is nothing more important than my family, and SO MANY friends of mine who I consider as MY family. The bulk of my assets in Valley County...the kind of assets you can’t put a price tag on. The responsibility of this law enforcement gig is personal. Tom thinks so too. I’ve seen Tom drive down your residential streets, and your gravel roads out in the “middle of nowhere” late into the night. He’s look for that clue, that indicator, that something isn’t right and when the opportunity presents itself, he moves forward with an investigation and solves the problem. I am relieved that Tom is running, because at the end of the day I want my family and friends safe in their lives and their property. You’ll get to know Tom in the coming days, weeks, and months. If you don’t know him, you will.
Be sure and ask questions, ask tough questions! When you go to that voting booth or receive that ballot be armed with credible information! I’m calling upon you, the ones with a place at my table. Go vote! Vote yourselves a favor, vote Tom Boyer as your Sheriff for Valley County.
Sincerely,
Matt Remmich
Former VCSO Chief Deputy
