NAN Announces 2018-2019 Big Sky Series Lineup

The Northeastern Arts Network has announced the schedule for their 2018-2019 Big Sky Series concert events. All performances will be at the Glasgow High School Auditorium.

Kristin Estelle and the Heartstrings will perform Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. Estelle was originally a classically trained clarinetist, hailing from the prairies of Malta, Mont. She eventually wound her way to the precipice of New York’s vocal jazz scene. The singer/songwriter’s melodies are full of wordplay and fun-filled jest. Her debut EP, Secrets, is a vivacious fusion of Indie-pop with a twist of jazz.

Supaman will perform Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. He is an award-winning Native American dancer and innovative hip hop artist who has dedicated his life to empowerment and spreading a message of hope and faith through his music. Supaman combines Native American culture and urban hip hop culture which dazzles audiences and captivates listeners.

Sundae & Mr. Goessl will be center stage Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019. This unique “Vintage Jazz” award winning duo from Seattle has been delighting audiences across the U.S. with their wit, charm, and serious chops. The charming couple engages audiences of all ages with fresh arrangements of tunes from the 1920s to 1950s. Voted Best Jazz Act of 2017 by the Seattle Weekly, this duo is sure to make your heart sway.

Returning act, Six Appeal, will conclude the season on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Six Appeal is a world-class vocal ensemble infused with sharp comedic timing, and the energy and vitality of a rock band. Swearing off instruments, the award winning vocal band takes you on a journey that spans decades of music, performing classic oldies, current chart toppers and catchy original tunes – completely a Capella.

Season ticket prices are $50 for adults, $45 for seniors, $35 for students, and $100 for families. At-the -door prices are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and $10 for students.

The Big Sky Series is made possible in part by the Montana Performing Arts Consortium Presenter Development Program which is supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Montana Arts Council, and legislative grant from Montana’s Cultural Trust, and the Western States Arts Federation.
