The Fort Peck Interpretive Center will be providing a number of activities for children and families this weekend, June 22 through 24. There will be a variety of displays, handouts and activities related to pollinators and the benefits to our ecosystem.
On Friday, attendees will be able to discover the life cycle of the honeybee, on Saturday be able to plant a flower to help pollinators and on Sunday make butterfly feeders to attract the pollinators. These activities will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., are subject to change and are weather permitting.
The Interpretive Center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., through the end of September. Powerhouse tours are also available and offered daily.
