William R. 'Bill' Grant

William R. “Bill” Grant, 80, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, in Portland, Ore.

He was born July 1, 1937, in Glasgow and was a 1955 graduate of Glasgow High School. He served four years in the U.S. Navy. Home on leave from Basic Training, he married Helen Rusher in July 1956. Following the service, he was employed by the Corps of Engineers at Fort Peck and moved to Oregon in 1970, where the family has since lived.

Immediate survivors include his wife, Helen; two sons, Larry and James; and daughter, Valree, all of Oregon. Two grandchildren also survive, Thomas and Stephanie.

Services and burial will be in Glasgow at a later date.
