Richard Dennis Eklund

Richard Dennis Eklund, 49, a mechanic, passed away of unknown causes in December 2017.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be Saturday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. at the Kirkwood Memorial Chapel in Malta.

He was born on Nov. 20, 1968, to Alvin and Helen Eklund in Glasgow, Mont. He was a mechanic and all-around hand. He could do anything he put his mind to. He enjoyed going to auctions and buying old outfits, then fixing them up. He had a good heart and would do anything for anybody.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Raymond; and one sister, Peggy.

He is survived by one sister, Wanda Eklund Berrisford, and her husband, Duane, of Hinsdale; one brother, Robert John Eklund; two children, Richard D. Eklund, Jr. and Dartanian Eklund; three aunts, Mary, June and Shirley Eklund; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
