Eleanor H. Kolstad

Eleanor H. Kolstad, 94, of Glasgow, Mont., passed away peacefully, Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, in Billings Deaconess Hospital.

She was born Dec. 2, 1923, in Opheim, daughter to Axel and Hilda (Dahl) Watterud. She married Alfred Kolstad on Oct. 24, 1942, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Kolstad; six brothers, Leonard, Lester, Rudy, Myron, Donald and Glen Watterud; and two sisters, Evelyn Watterud and Lorraine Halverson.

Survivors include five children, Terry Kolstad and his wife, Peggy, of Castle Rock, Colo., Arden Dwain Kolstad and his wife, Julaine, of Fountain Hills, Ariz., Vince Kolstad and his wife, Rose, of Glasgow, Robin Kolstad of Denver, Colo., and Kelly Bishop and her husband, Will, of Billings; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, at the First Baptist Church.
