Donna F. (Meaudry) McNabb, age 84 of Glasgow, passed away early Sunday morning, Dec. 17, 2017, at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow.
As per her wishes, she has been cremated. A celebration of her life is being planned for next spring.
She was born on Jan. 10, 1933, in Glasgow to Alfred and Cora (Wager) Beaudry. She and her three siblings were raised in the Wheeler area, where Alfred was working on the Fort Peck Dam Project. She developed a love for music in high school that she would carry with her throughout her life.
She worked as a cook for Johnnie Café off and on for over 48 years. She married Leon McNabb on March 5, 1970, and together they raised three children, Jackie, Sanford and Juanita. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, crafts and music. (She not only could sing, but also played accordion, ukulele, violin and piano).
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Sanford and Louis Beaudry; one sister, Antoinette Beaudry; one daughter, Jackie Swan; and a grandson, Jared Leno.
She is survived by two children Sanford DeBray and his wife, Mona, of Billings and Juanita Haider and her husband, Tyler, of Glasgow; and five grandchildren.
Bell Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
