Swanson Named Coordinator for Milk River Watershed Alliance

Sarah Swanson has recently been named Milk River Watershed Alliance’s new coordinator. She will be advocating for the health of the Milk River Watershed and the rehabilitation needs of the St. Mary facilities and diversion system.

With deep roots in Northeast Montana dating back to her great-grandparent’s homestead north of Hinsdale, Swanson’s Hi-Line heritage has instilled in her a drive to work to enrich rural communities for future generations, while supporting the men and women of agriculture working in acres, instead of hours. She is a graduate of Leadership Montana and volunteers for a variety of national and state committees to make sure northeastern Montana’s voice is heard.
