Mary Ann Squires, 62, of Scobey, Mont., formerly of Nashua and Glasgow, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, in Scobey at Daniels Memorial Nursing Home, where she had lived since 2006.
She was born April 20, 1955, in Glasgow, Mont., to George and Mildred (Bondy) Squires.
Mary Ann lived with her parents in Richland at their home, which was also their place of business, Squires Grocery, and rode the school bus to attend Special Education Classes taught by Mrs. John Nesbitt in Opheim.
She loved to play bingo and watching her "soaps." She and her folks spent many enjoyable hours at the Senior Center in both Opheim and Nashua playing bingo.
During the 1980s, the family moved to Nashua and resided there until 1996.
She is preceded in death by her dad, George, in 1992, and her mom, Millie, in 2001.
Survivors include her sister, Arlene Trang and her husband, Lalon, of Nashua; nieces and nephews, Roger Trang and his wife, Terry, of Nashua, Kelly Trang and his wife, Pamela, of Pierz, Minn., Barbara Castleman and her husband, Mike, of Kalispell, Thom Trang and his wife, Dina, of Dillon, and Vicki Heupel and her husband, Justin, of Kalispell; great-nieces and nephews, Morgan, Jacob and Caleb Trang, Taylor Trang, Logan and Elia Castleman, Nathan, Mikaela and Abigail Trang, Luke and Evan Heupel, Matthew Sonsteng, his wife, Melissa, and their children, Reese and Kellan, and Jessica Sonsteng.
Visitation was on Monday, Nov. 6, from 12-5 p.m., and funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m., all at Bell Mortuary in Glasgow. Burial followed funeral services in the Nashua cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Following the burial, a reception and meal was held at the Nashua Senior Center.
Bell Mortuary of Glasgow was in charge of arrangements.
