Dig for the Cure, Malta Up Next
For homecoming on Oct. 7, GHS outlasted a tenacious Poplar team that played with full hearts and sheer energy. While it wasn't the Scotties' most stellar performance, it still counts as a win, so it was a success. But, GHS will need to re-group after the close contest, especially as the district tournament looms large.
Several stunning defensive plays livened up the team and the ever-loyal crowd, but GHS was kept off-balance and struggled to really find their rhythm offensively. Still, a win is a win and it's time to move forward.
Thursday, Oct. 12 will be a very special night for Glasgow. Malta comes to town, which sets the stage for a great rivalry. Plus, the Scotties will be fund-raising for Relay for Life with their annual Pink Night - Dig for the Cure! At the game, for just $1, you can buy a pink lei or a handful of taffy or even a chance to serve at the team for a free cup of coffee from this year's fabulous sponsors: The Loaded Toad and Hot Shots. Plan to wear pink and help us Dig for the Cure!
