Boys Finish 6th, Girls 12th
The Scottie cross country team competed in their second big meet of the season Sept. 1 at the Billings Invitational. The Scottie boys placed very well overall, coming in 6th out of 23 teams. Ellis McKean led the team with his 14th-place finish and a time of 17:28.11, while Ike Braaten finished just behind him in 15th-place with a time of 17:28.34.
The girls finished 12th out of 18 teams and were led by Emily Kolstad. Kolstad finished 43rd with a time of 22:29.47.
The Scotties will be in Malta on Saturday, Sept. 9.
