August A. Axtman, 86, of Maddock, N.D., (formerly from Glasgow, Mont.) passed away at the St. Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey, N.D., on Friday, Aug. 4, 2017.

A visitation was held Sunday, Aug. 6, at St. Williams Catholic Church from 5-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. vigil service.

Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, at the St. Williams Catholic Church in Maddock, with Father Brian Bachmeier celebrating the Mass. The burial took place at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Selz, N.D.
