Locals to See Spotlight in FPST's 'Grease'

Fort Peck Summer Theatre's coming production of Grease, opening Aug. 4, stars Glasgow natives Rachel Lynn Pewitt as Rizzo, Tayte Prewett as Frenchy, Lily Helland as Marty, Lauren Kolstad as Patty, Sydney Hayward as Blanche, Jon Svingen as Coach and Daniel Dunn as Vince.

The principle cast is rounded out by Taylor Caprara (Sandy), Nickela Rooney (Jan), Tyson Gerhardt (Kenickie), Jacob Nally (Sonny), Pam L Veis (Miss Lynch) and Jamie Parnell (Johnny Casino), as well as three Spokane-based actors: Jerrod Galles, Scott Worley and Mathias Oliver as Danny, Roger and Eugene, respectively. If press photos are anything to go by (and they ofter are), FPST's retelling of Rydell High rivalries, Pink Ladies, fast cars and slick hair promises to be a high-energy production and one of the highlights of the season.
