Lillian Marie Adams

Lillian Marie (Jensen) Adams, 91, of Sun Lakes, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Internment of her remains will be at a later date next to her husband, Donald, at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo.

She was born on Aug. 17, 1925, the daughter of Hans and Lillian Marie (Scammel) Jensen of Glasgow. She grew up in the Whately Community, 7 miles east of Glasgow, and graduated from Glasgow High School in 1943. She was employed in secretarial work at Glasgow Air Force Base and Spokane, Wash.

On Feb. 14, 1946, she married Donald Faye Adams, son of Faye and Ada Adams of Fort Benton. They lived a few years in Fort Benton and were involved in the family-owned farm machinery business. Don was in the military reserve and in 1951, was called to active duty in Great Falls. He continued in that field until retirement and for many years was stationed at various bases in his career. Upon retirement they lived at Lisle, Ill., and later for many years enjoyed their retirement at Colorado Springs, Colo.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Donna Lee McTaggart, and her husband, Tom, of Humber Heights, Ohio; one son, Douglas Faye Adams, of Chandler Ariz .; two grandsons, Shawn and Ryan McTaggart; five great-grandsons; one sister, Donna Jean Court of Billings; and two nieces, Susan Court of Helena and Debbie Court of Billings.
