Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
Local Glasgow resident, Lacie Brown had a vision to raise funds for domestic violence services in Valley County, and with the assistance of her two friends, Jenny McCabe and Kim Redstone, that vision is becoming a reality.
On Saturday, April 29, a clothing sale will occur at Milk River Activity Center in Glasgow to assist those in need in the community. To make this event successful, Brown is asking for the community to do spring cleaning, and gather gently worn clothes, shoes and accessories to donate to the cause. These donations will be used in the sale, with all merchandise being priced at a $1. This will be a great opportunity to not only clean out your closet or change up your style, but also make a difference in the community.
The event will feature brunch, various vendors and raffle prizes. Those who donate clothing will automatically receive tickets to enter in the raffle. If you don’t have clothes to donate, raffle tickets can be purchased from Brown, McCabe or Redstone for $1.
Left over clothes and proceeds from the event will go towards domestic violence services in Valley County.
If you would like to donate clothing, please clearly mark each bag with your name and e-mail address, if your business would like to contribute a raffle basket or if you would like to be a vendor at the event, please contact Brown at 406-230-2162, McCabe at 230-1674 or Redstone at 720-329-4741.
