Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
To those of you that faithfully read my crazy column, this article will be short and may be my last one for a couple of weeks. I managed to fall directly on my elbow last week and waiting to have surgery done.
It had never entered my mind just how hard it is to type with one hand, so I will take a break, maybe come up with some new thoughts.
Today I want to remember the days when the dimmer switch in your vehicle was located on the floor. I personally long for that feature. I will admit that one would think flipping a lever with two fingertips would be easier, but for some of us old scholars, it just isn’t.
Oh, am I correct in remembering that some vehicles in the 50s had automatic dimmers with the sensor mounted on the dash, Factory installed, of course.
Be cautious, think safety and remember to count your blessings for all of those things you take for granted.
